Spain's secret conflict

"Through these polls [for Catalonia's independence] the Catalans are sending a clear message to Spain: for 300 years we've had to listen to you and do what you've told us. Now this is what we have to say."

With these words the documentary of endboard productions, Spain's secret conflict,  ends a 40-minute exposition of a reality that is often hidden by Spain to the world. The journalist Gary Gibson interviews different Catalan and Spanish personalities to talk about the cultural and economical conflict between Spain and Catalonia, which is pushing many Catalans to want independence from Spain. The video has received in 2 days more than 8000 visits on Vimeo and is being spread throughout several Facebook profiles and public forums. You can see the documentary (in English) below:

  1. Mr Gibson is not a journalist. He is an English teacher.

This is not a documentary, but a propaganda piece commissioned by Catalan pro-independence activists, some of whom are interviewed in the film.

  2. All those who do not accept other opinions but their only ones, use to write comments like the number 1 above (Anonymus), who will surely believe that he is a real democrat. Also very well known anti-catalan people like Jimenez Losantos, Aznar and a woman which is supposed to be a journalist of TeleMadrid are interviewed, haven't you seen that?

  4. In my opinion this is a good and serious documentary that explain the conflict beetwen Spain and Catalonia. And Mr Gibson is journalist also he works at my University.
And a lot of catalan people are fed up about a state that only wants to collapse Catalonia.
It's much more healthy that everyone's keep on their own way.
On the other hand, I supose you know that the Spanish TV channel (Tele 5)has posted a question on its website for some competitors who said: what do you prefer a black child, gay or Catalan? Without comment.
